Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

Teensy News is a personal RSS reader. This policy describes what data is collected, how it is used, and what happens to it when you close your account.

What we collect

To create an account, Teensy News requires an email address. Your email is used as your username and serves as the primary way to contact you if you need support. It will never be used for marketing, newsletters, or shared with third parties for any reason.

Authentication is handled via passkey (WebAuthn). No passwords are stored.

Your account also stores the feeds you subscribe to, the folders you organize them into, and the articles fetched from those feeds — including read, archived, and favorited states.

How your data is stored

Each user's data lives in a dedicated, isolated database. Your feeds, folders, and articles are not commingled with any other user's data.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
  • We do not serve ads or use your reading habits for advertising.
  • We do not send unsolicited email. The only reason we would contact you is if you reached out for support.

Analytics

This site is hosted on Cloudflare which enables basic web analytics like total page views, and some performance statistics like Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) and Interaction to Next Paint (INP) which are used for quality control purposes and basic traffic analysis.

We do not track individual user behavior with Google Analytics or other similar platforms.

Account deletion

When you close your account, your entire database is permanently destroyed. This includes all feeds, folders, articles, and any record of your reading history. This action is irreversible.
